Our Mission

The mission of the Chicago Park District Water Polo Club represents the diversity of Chicago, in an inclusive environment of young athletes who want to play and compete in competitive year-round water polo. Our club is committed to offering high-level coaching and competition both regionally and nationally.

  • CPD Water Polo Club has been a dominant force in water polo throughout the city of Chicago and across the entire Midwest for the past 20+ years.

  • The club practices and competes year-round

  • We have six main groups of athletes and practices.

  • High School Girls - High School boys - Tier 1 Boys - Tier 1 Girls - Tier 2 Boys/Girls - Tier 3 Boys/Girls

What do our various practices/teams look like?

  • Tier 1 is our age group travel team.

    Year round attendance and commitment to travel team are required.

    Coaches will determine when to move athletes to this level.

  • Younger and less experienced age group players compete in our Tier 2/3 teams.

    Competition is mainly local, focus is learning and gaining experience in the game.

  • All High School athletes participate with High School teams.

    Numbers are limited, and preference is given to athletes with longevity in the club and ability level.
